This beautiful hand crafted children's cotton quilt features an adorable hand block printed llama and cactus design. Crafted with love and designed for comfort, this blanket will be a delightfully cozy companion for your little one. A traditional art form in India, block printing involves hand stamping lengths of fabric with color using hand-carved wood blocks. Different blocks are used to produce the different colors for each design. The reverse side of the quilt is a solid white cotton. The artisans use a traditional Kantha stitch to hand sew the front and back pieces of the quilt together. These baby quilts are also perfect as floor play blankets, a picnic blanket or a beach throw.
