Our gorgeous Lagoon Silk and Linen Scarf is light as air and accented with a subtly woven stripe. This luxurious jewel-toned scarf glows with a soft sheen and is woven in a mix of silk and linen threads. It is perfect as a scarf through most of the year and wide enough to be used as a shawl on date night.

The two brothers who manage this Fair Trade partner group are dedicated to empowering artisans and entrepreneurs in Vietnam and Thailand to constantly develop their craft so as to reach a larger audience for the sale of their products. They have personally met all of their artisans, believing that mutual trust and respect is key to developing a sustainable business. They lend their expertise in advising the artisans on design and color selections, long term hiring of newly trained artisans and growth plans for the communities. Your purchase of this product supports a community of 20 families living close to the South China Sea. This family collective uses only locally grown silk in all of its handspun yarns as they operate hand looms in the production of shawls and scarves.
